Instead of focusing merely on the technical skills involved in camera work, directing, and editing, Cooper makes sure that every aspect of his filmmaking is informed and improved by his years of experience with communication, marketing, and storytelling.In pre-production he loves finding creative ways to visualize and express the deeper meaning of a project. In production he loves bringing out human moments as a DP, director, or interviewer. And in post he loves seeing how the power of editing and color can add impact and bring new meaning to footage.After years of working in video advertising and documentary-style ads, in 2022 he pivoted to emphasize narrative filmmaking.
