I am a documentary cinematographer with a love for real stories about everyday people. I specialize in vérité filming and drawing people into the emotion of each frame. In the field, I’m friendly and calm to help set people at ease and when rolling, I’m always listening for the story and watching for telling details.I fell in love with telling real stories during a 10-year tenure working in non-profit communications. After going independent in 2019, I’ve pivoted my career to become a documentary cinematographer by improving my camera work from a technical standpoint working as an AC and camera operator, and through studying documentary storytelling techniques.
