I am an independent historic costume specialist with over 29 years experience. My professional costume design and construction experience includes Off Broadway, professional, university theaters, and Shakespeare Festivals. I have extensive experience in the film industry and museum replica work.My works embodies the western and rugged frontier look and I am an expert in 19th century attire. My studio is often called upon to make costumes for early-mid 19th century productions such as Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist. I am experienced in distressing and aging techniques and primarily work with natural fibers.I am well connected within the local supply and production networks and have exceptionally high standards for the pieces created here in the studio. I prefer to work with advance notice but have been known to take a few quick turn around projects on occasion. We do not rent costumes at this time.I run a professional costume design and production studio and am happy to partner with other costume designers and wardrobe stylists within the industry. I have advanced degrees in History and am happy to work as a consultant as well.
